Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny. -- Upanishads

Notice how we are now living in SLUSH land?
You know this means you have to give yourself extra time so that you can CRUISE and SAUNTER into yoga class. NOT RUN and DASH into yoga class late like a frazzled chicken.
Wouldn't it be great to calmly walk into yoga early, instead of running like a roadrunner on fire already sweaty and stressed out coming LATE to yoga class?
Driving like a maniac on the road endangering others while your heart beats madly and you feel your blood boil? What is that? Time for a chill pill baby. That is not yoga.

Remember when your parents said... Just do your best honey. So, are you still doing your best, honey???
What would happen if you did your best all the time? YOUR best, not anyone elses best. Not what your Mom or Dad say is best. What you know is best.
When you talk to people, do you do your best?
Like for instance, when you are talking to someone. Do you really listen? Are you aware of what they are saying? I tried to talk to someone today, and she was barely looking at me, and I could tell that all she was doing was looking at herself in the mirror. That was not her best.

Have you ever really dedicated yourself to your health? - (The chocolate bacon wrapped french fry diet does not count as dedication.)
2009 has a nice ring to it, don't you think? It may be time to investigate and try to dedicate yourself to turning your health and fitness around to sweet lovin feelin darn good land.
2009 is the year to dedicate your time and energy to your health and fitness.
Dedication to your yoga practice. CREATING the time to go to yoga and if you create the time, you will make the time!

FREE Yoga on Christmas Day? Could it be true? Is it a holiday miracle?? Yes. A hot, sweaty, stretchy holiday miracle. BUT - REMEMBER - Only ONE hot sweaty, stretchy holiday miracle. One class at NOON in Yaletown and in White Rock.
So, after the presents and the morning egg nog, if you would like to be an elf that wants to escape the insanity and take a couple hours to sweat out the turkey or stuffing, or prepare yourself for yet another dinner with your cousin Bobby Joe who you have only met once and you need to clear your mind for the small talk of family dinner...

Santa...all I want this year is a cushier yoga mat. Disposable recyclable hot yoga clothes so I don't have to do laundry every day. Tighter thighs. Less jolly St. Nick jiggle jelly belly. Peace on earth. (Or maybe just in my head.) Less back hair. (O.k. - that one is not mine.)
All you have to do is ask.
What is the harm in asking Santa - or the UNIVERSE for what you want?
(The people who think the word UNIVERSE is too "flaky" have just closed this screen)
